What Does A Chiropractor Do?

The Chiropractor uses his or her hands to restore balance to the body by using several techniques to deliver a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust (or HVLA) to the spine. Chiropractors correct misalignments in the spine which clears communication between the brain and body, thus relieving pain and restoring function without further injury.

In addition, the Chiropractor can treat a variety of disorders that affect the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. For example, some of these neck and back issues include:

  • Sports Injuries: including torn muscles, strained tendons, and/or sprained ligaments.
  • Whiplash
  • Migraines
  • Sciatica
  • Myofascial Pain
